About the Foundation

In the name of courage, in the service of society

सेवा ही सच्चा स्वराज है

Maharana Pratap Welfare Foundation is a not-for-profit company working across India — carrying the values of courage, self-respect and seva forward through education, relief, health, environment and the welfare of women and children.

Who we are

A resolve born of history,
a mission for today

"जो दृढ़ राखे धर्म को, तिहि राखे करतार"

— attributed to the age of Maharana Pratap

Maharana Pratap Welfare Foundation is a not-for-profit company, registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Incorporated on 3 June 2026 with its registered office in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the foundation's charitable objects extend to the whole of India.

We take our name — and our resolve — from the great Maharana Pratap, whose life stands for self-respect, sacrifice and unwavering duty towards one's people. For us, swaraj means more than self-rule: it means self-reliance. Everything we do, from classrooms to villages, is meant to help people and communities stand on their own feet, in the spirit of an atmanirbhar Bharat.
